Play at busier hours if your ping swings between matches — a fuller local player pool keeps matchmaking in your region.
Use Ethernet to eliminate Wi-Fi jitter; PUBG's netcode punishes unstable connections hard.
Close bandwidth hogs: updates, streams, and cloud backups add latency under load.
Check your baseline with a ping, jitter, and packet loss test. If the baseline is bad, fix your network before blaming matchmaking.
