Very good

11 ms is very good. It is below the point where any genre starts to suffer, and better than the connection most players in your lobby are using.

Responsive with no perceptible delay. The difference between 11 ms and a single-digit ping is around one frame at 100 Hz — real on paper, invisible in play.

What produces a 11 ms ping

A wired connection to a server a few hundred kilometres away, or a very good connection to a server slightly further out. Common for players in mid-sized cities routed to a national or regional hosting hub.

Can you improve it?

Maybe 2-4 ms if you are currently on Wi-Fi and switch to Ethernet, or if the game lets you pick a closer region. Beyond that the number is mostly fixed by geography.

Questions about 11 ms ping

Is 11 ms ping good for Valorant or CS2?

Yes. Both games are designed around players in the 10-50 ms band, and 11 ms puts you at the good end of it. Your peek timing and hit registration will behave as the game intends.

Why does my ping sit at 11 ms instead of a single digit?

Almost always distance. Every 100 km of fibre adds roughly 1 ms to the round trip, and your traffic rarely travels in a straight line. An 11 ms result usually means the server is a few hundred kilometres away.
